Is it possible for a company to do without strategic sessions?
Almost impossible. A strategy session allows you to find business problems that hinder its growth and make employees’ work ineffective. It is at such meetings that the team’s work is established and a common development strategy is developed. Each employee here can express their vision of the company’s development and be heard.
How many people can attend a strategy session?
For strategic sessions, we recommend creating a working group of no more than 9 people.
Which format is better - online or offline?
We recommend conducting strategy sessions offline. However, both options can be applied.
How to get the most out of a strategy session?
There are three key factors for the success of an event. The first is the composition of the participants: there should be no random people at the session who do not make any important decisions. The second is what is done after: if we develop a strategy, but nothing is done to implement it, all the work done will have no meaning. What types and formats of sessions are there?
There are two session formats: online and offline. How is a strategy session different from team building or training?
The difference between a strategy session and team building is that it is focused not on the process (for example, creating a certain atmosphere in the team), but on the end result (forming a strategy to achieve a profit of X dollars in Y months). Another difference is that the meeting primarily affects top management, not ordinary employees. Unlike training, which develops the necessary competencies in employees, a session should be held to develop the company's strategy and ways to achieve it.
How often should sessions be held?
